The Effect of Level of Technology Training on Teachers' Attitudes Toward Using and Integrating Technology

This paper is a report of an ongoing longitudinal evaluation assessing the effect of level of technology training on teachers' attitudes and comfort toward using and integrating technology into the curriculum. Multivariate and univariate analyses were used on an initial sample of 54 K-12 public and private school teachers from a Northeast state undergoing two levels of technology training who participated as part of a Technology Literacy Challenge Grant. Initial findings support and extend previous research that shows teachers become more comfortable with using and integrating technology, and possess more positive attitudes toward technology, as the extent of training increases.
