Porous silicon membrane for humidity sensing applications

摘要

THis paper reports on the development of a capacitive humidity sensor based on a porous silicon dielectric membrane. The membrane construction allows a heating resistor to be placed under the porous region which can be used for resetting the device. Initial results show an improved response time when compared to bulk type sensors.
