The need for new, improved or cheaper products appears to be unbounded. An army of scientists, engineers and other specialists of the most varying fields is developing or improving the most varied technologies, equipment, machines and methods. Included in this is a not inconsiderable number which is occupied only with the production of electronic modules. The success is impressive. Constantly more efficient technologies and production systems are available to the users. The investment costs and the quality requirements increase. The product variations multiply. It becomes more and more important to introduce a product more quickly. The pressure to keep costs down gets stronger. Intelligent solutions become more and more important. Many ways have to be taken at the same time. An ideal solution is not apparent.
