摘要

The paper presents robust pole placement controller design for a Magnetic Levitation System (MLS) from Inteco. The design constraints are considered to define desired closed-loop pole region locations. LMI region approach for a robust pole placement is adopted for a discrete-time case. Appropriate approximation of LMI region for the prescribed damping is discussed to meet the performance improvement requirements defined for a Magnetic Levitation system. The obtained results are illustrated on simulations as well as real laboratory plant.
