摘要

Multi-channel scaffolds, with 60% open lumen volume, were shown to support nerve regeneration and align axons and glial cells. Scaffold compliance was promoted by 1) porosity and 2) smaller implant sizes. Altogether this study highlights the design criteria important for scaling-up to clinical relevance, from in vivo models, and demonstrates the potential of multichannel scaffolds for use in nerve repair.
