Historical Sources of University Campus Form and Its Relationship with Urban Space

Since the second half of the 20th century, with the advancement of global urbanization and urbanization, the connection between university campus and city has become closer and closer, and this close relationship is actually the origin of history. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the university's campus form and its relationship with urban space through the study of the campus form of the earliest universities in Bologna, Paris, and Oxford, and the relationship between campus and urban space.
