As one of the main energy resources, commonly, CH4-rich fuel is reformed to syngas for F-T synthesis or chemicals. Large-scale catalytic system has been used for CH4 steam reforming in industrial application with central CH4 resources. However, more than half of CH4-rich fuel is distributed, especially the renewable biogas from the anaerobic digestion of organic wastes. Thereby, the utilization of the distributed CH4-rich fuels needs a small - scale reforming system. The traditional catalytic method is challenge for its low efficiency and slow start-up after reducing its scale to home-scale (4 - 25 L/min).
