Aircraft secondary power systems, such as an environmental control system or ice protection system, are operated by bleed air or power off-take from the engine. Thus, they affect an aircraft performance. The authors constructed the aircraft conceptual design method which considers these aircraft systems for the purpose of comprehending the influence of aircraft systems upon the aircraft conceptual design results. In this paper, Genetic Programming, which optimizes the structural data and solves symbolic regression problems, is applied to these conceptual design data, and design information is extracted. The effect of aircraft systems on aircraft conceptual design results is discussed. It was indicated that for heavy aircraft the power off-take necessary to operate the systems relatively decreases its impact when compared with the medium aircraft.
