Many studies indicated that digital game-based learning can enhance students' learning motivation effectively, but it also needs appropriate tools or strategies to improve the learning achievement. The purpose of this study is to develop a digital game-based learning system with a graduated prompting strategy, so that students can consolidate concepts and skills of problem-solving, and further strength retention and transfer by graduated prompting strategy progressively and repeatedly. This study investigates the influence of students' learning motivation and achievement by using the proposed digital game-based learning system in the math courses.
