摘要

This paper focuses on improving the Value Stream of a beverage company. The production process of the company is a typical semi-process (make-and-pack) system. For implementing Lean design for flow principles an EPEI (interval) production planning modelhas been developed that also takes into account some typical constraints of the semi-process industry. This paper identifies the constraints and building blocks for this model and describes the development of a product wheel model that can be used for daily scheduling but also for supporting the decision making process for value stream design and improvement initiatives.
