WELCOME FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIRS

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 2017 ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference at Sheraton Hotel Tysons Corner, Virginia, October 10-13, 2017. This is the flagship annual conference of the Dynamic Systems and Controls (DSC) Division of ASME. This year we celebrate the first decade of running this event successfully by volunteers of the society as a standalone conference of our DSC Division. Prior to 2008, this conference was part of the larger ASME IMECE. Each year the conference attracts original contributions of many researchers, engineers, and scientists from academia and industry in a variety of subareas of dynamic systems and controls, including but not limited to the themes of the Division's Technical Committees (TCs.)
