摘要

The accurate modeling of electrochemical batteries has to be considered a significant issue in the design of control algorithms applied to energy storage systems. In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of Energy Storage System models based on equivalent electric circuits is presented. Such models are compared by means of a multi-criteria approach considering performance, applications, battery technologies and dynamic behavior. An extensive experimental validation has been carried out in order to assess the performance and capabilities related to each model, including sensitivity to parameters uncertainty. The analysis reported in the paper can represent an effective tool to select the appropriate model for a given application.
