A large number of solar panels were placed in the open air. Solar panels have long been affected by dust weather, and other severe weather. This would make their surface covered with a lot of dust. Further, it would led to a serious decline in the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar panels. Through a lot of experiments, Nano-SiC film had the characteristics of self cleaning. Solar cells with Nano-SiC film surface could be kept clean for a long time, and maintain high photoelectric conversion efficiency. In this paper, Nano-SiC film was selected two kinds of coating methods by sol gel method and PLD method and their self cleaning effect for photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar panels were tested.
