摘要

This paper applies Cell Transmission Model to determine ramp metering rate to maintain freeway mainline serve in certain Level of Service. The control can increase permitted vehicles entering into a freeway as could as possible without increasing delay but slight decreasing speed. The permission is a range in a certain Level of Service. Therefore, the method could be more practical and flexible to execute for fluent freeway traffic.
