Easy-traffic Information Smart Phone App - Fun Travel in Taipei

Since the launch of computerized traffic controls in the 1990s, Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government has gradually introduced various advanced technologies, in hopes of optimizing Taipei's intelligent transportation system (ITS). The Advanced Traveler Information Service (ATIS) has been made a priority in Taipei city's future development. With the goal of being the most comprehensive traffic information smartphone app, Fun Travel in Taipei (hereafter referred to as "FTiT") includes all of the travel needs in Taipei, especially the real-time traffic information such as: bus information, traffic information, parking lots, MRT information, YouBike, international public transport information, etc. The abundant information provided is ahead of any traffic-related smartphone apps of any major city in the world. The public can use FTiT to search for traffic information for travel scheduling, thereby reducing the waiting time and taking efficient as well as comfortable trip. Moreover, with the aim of enhancing the traffic information transmission efficiency, the traffic information database is open to public. Travelers are provided with diversified information inquiry ways, and thus the application scope for promoting Taipei City's intelligent transportation services expands.
