摘要

A novel wideband high-gain circularly-polarised (CP) antenna is presented in this paper. A hybrid design based on Fabry-Perot cavity and a short conical horn is applied to a small CP slot-fed patch antenna for wideband and high-gain operation. Simulations and experiments are conducted to validate the design and a good agreement is obtained. The measurements of the antenna prototype show a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 12% and a peak gain of 16.3 dBi.
