Some considerations on environmental education of traffic and transportation engineers in the Republic of Serbia

We should always hold human resource as the first resource and the basis to development and we point out the significance of education as one of the principal values of importance for the whole society. Education is the area of the greatest importance for every state and for the people who think about the future of their citizens In 2001. the process of the high education reform in Serbia began. In this paper some considerations on environmental education of traffic and transportation engineers in the Republic of Serbia are given together with stressing the duty to protect and improve the environment for present and future generations.
