摘要

This paper proposes a vehicle parking slot detection using internet of things. It uses an ultrasonic and proximity sensor. It consists of three stages: parking slot detection, parking slot display, parking slot reservation. Parking slots are detected using a parallel line pairs. This structure indicates the hierarchical tree representation. Each slot is connected to GSM communication network through sensor. The number of vacancy details and unavailable slots details are displayed on an LED screen. If any emergency the person who can reserve the parking slot from a particular distance through mobile phone. The proposed system is very helpful for the vehicle driver and reduces the uneconomical cost, save the time by allocating the reserve parking slot for the vehicle. So the driver's burden is reduced in a cost effective manner.
