摘要

Two series of polyurethanes were successfully prepared with chain extension of prepolymers with novel aminoacid based diols and diamines. The polymers were characterised by standard characterisation methods. Toxicity studies compared with positive and negative controls have revealed the polymers to be totally biocompatible. The presentation will discuss the design, synthesis, properties and biocompatibility studies of these urethanes polymers.
