In order to analyze the adaptability between transportation corridor and the development of urban agglomeration spatial structure, this paper introduces the concept of elastic coefficients, using a comprehensive elastic coefficient as a measure to analyze the adaptability between them from the angle of development. First, a index system of urban agglomeration spatial structure is built and index weights are ranked by the process of analytic hierarchy. Then a hundred-mark valuation system is used to convert indexes with different dimensions into corresponding score values. Comprehensive evaluation value is seeked by multiplying the score values to their index weights respectively and summing them up. Thirdly, the comprehensive elastic coefficient is given by using transportation volume of transportation corridor and the comprehensive evaluation values of urban agglomeration spatial stucture are used as parameters. Then adaptability is analyzed based on the comprehensive elastic coefficient.
