A two-degree-of-freedom model is investigated to capture the complicated characteristics for an automotive disc brake system by using the numerical method. Herein, we focus on the effect of the natural frequency of the rotor and the damper on the brake system's dynamical behavior. The bifurcation diagrams of the parameter above are obtained.
