Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) is an effective tool for image representation. We applied the RSVP technique for image representation in the context of flashcard learning for children 6-8 years old. An evaluation was carried out to investigate the acceptance of RSVP modes in digital flashcard learning for the children. Two groups of children have been tested; there are children from a normal class and another group from the LINUS program class. In the evaluation, keyhole mode, shelf mode, and carousel mode were used in representation flashcard learning to give a comparison between these three modes. The highest choice between these three modes of RSVP was found. The finding shows that children from the normal class prefer to choose the carousel mode and children from the LINUS program prefer to choose the keyhole mode as a representation technique in their digital flashcard learning. This experiment provides us an early insight into use of RSVP techniques in the digital flashcard context. Future work is to conduct an experiment for more samples of users and using this technique in relation to the flashcard learning context.
