Propagation of common instrumental errors of angular rate sensors (ARS) into the errors of an inertial Strap-down Attitude Reference Unit (SARU) for a spinning vehicle is considered. A technique of error estimation is proposed; its application to the error analysis under free rotation of a moving vehicle is discussed.
