摘要

We have developed a novel catalytic method for synthesizing a wide variety of carbon nanomaterials in the organic liquid [1]. The method realized a simple, speedy, and high-purity growth of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in alcohol liquids. We have succeeded in synthesizing high density and well-aligned CNTs vertically to a substrate by using cobalt (Co) as a catalyst, because of controlling the physico-chemical states of the Co catalyst [2].
