BEYOND THE PRISIONERS' DILEMMA COOPERATION: ANALYSING THE ROLE OF RELATIONAL FACTORS BETWEEN IS AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

This study presents an investigation which tests the influence of relational factors such ascommunication, trust, commitment and payoff division – on the presence or absence ofcooperative behaviour between IS and business professionals. The cooperative behaviour wasanalysed by means of a Prisioner’s Dilemma (a methodology proposed by the authors in aforthcoming paper). The relational factors were analysed by means of a questionnaire withtypical questions used in other similar studies.
