This paper reports on the development of pedagogical materials and assessment tools used in aircraft maintenancetechnology (AMT) programs to develop learning skills and competencies of aircraft maintenance technicians. Thestudy analyzes a curriculum currently taught at an aircraft maintenance program of a two-year technical college.Through an integrated assessment paradigm, the authors utilize Bloom’s taxonomy in cognitive domain for refiningcourse objectives and to improve learning outcomes. Pedagogical materials, assessment tools and training simulatorsgenerated as a part of this research will be used by AMT programs to improve student learning.
