Applications of novel pregelatinized starch as a sustained release matrix carrier

摘要

The ability of novel high functional pregelatinized starch (HS) was investigated as a controlled release matrix agent. Results showed that HS matrix sustained the release of drugs having various water solubility according to first-order and zero-order profiles. In addition, HS matrix has high drug release stability.
