In the rice production, direct seeding technique of rice bud-sowing develops fastrecently in China. This thesis takes the Air vertical-rotor Seed-metering Device (ASD) as theinvestigation object, makes experimental studies on the filling process of the precision seed-meteringdevice with rice bud-sowing via High Speed Video Camera System (HSVCS)technique, and simulates the speed and pressure in the seed-filling process of rice bud-sowingthrough ANSYS software. We also make some experimental studies on the seedingperformance. The results show that the best performance of seed-metering device is atvacuum-pressure between 1.8kPa-4.73kPa. When linear speed of seed plate exceeds 0.56m·s-1,the filling performance begins to decline evidently . The motional rule of seed-filling processand its influence factors are proved on the basis of theoretical analysis and experiment. Thisstudy establishes a foundation for the systematic design theory and optimized design of ASDwith rice bud-sowing.
