Strategic Analysis Evolution:scenario planning and simulation based on themethodology of System Dynamics

摘要

The present study is aimed at developing the optimal instruments fordispelling the uncertainty factors during the formulation of strategiesfor corporate development. The objective is the creation of acomplete model of strategic analysis, which encompasses both theenvironment (internal and external) and the management rationalcomponent. This model – built on the analysis of three corporatecases - is concretized by a simulation for testing the strategy by themeans of software which enables the users to cope with a dynamicand complex corporate environment. The research questions regardthe development of a complete strategic analysis, which covers theentire decision-making process; the concrete assessment of thebusiness strategy on the basis of quantitative data; the identificationand enhancement of the critical variables of business administration,in such a complex and dynamic reality as the corporateenvironment.
