PARTICIPATION OF KHRUNICHEV SPACE CENTER IN DEVELOPMENTS OF SOVIET REUSABLE SPACE VEHICLES

The enterprises which are at the present in the frame of Khrunichev SRPSC, have a vast experience of advanced developments some of which were made just at the Soviet time, few tens of years ago. In a particular, few projects of reusable aerospace planes and space vehicles were developed paving the way to a current creation of new generation of these reusable space vehicles, an example of which is the Khrunichev's "Baikal" reusable fly-back booster being at the stage of realization at the present time. Brief description of projects using an aerodynamical and helicopter-like descent in the Earth's atmosphere are given in the paper as well as an information on the reentry capsule of TKS spacecraft which was twice tested in space flights at the first time in the world. A degree of Khrunichev's participation in these projects/developments and examples of recently adopted experience are described.
