As Chinese people's living standard is being improved, especially people make higher demands for food nutrition safety, natural quality, health protection and etc. Food safety is closely related to the existence and development of an enterprise as well as the development of China's food industry after becoming a member of the WTO. At present, new problems of food safety and hygiene in the world have been given great attention by governments. This essay mainly discusses the problems of food safety in china, the developing trend of the world food safety and the challenge china facing after joining the WTO. meanwhile some improving measures were suggested.
