Strategic planning for asme unclear codes and standards

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to provide information on the planning process, planning assumptions, and the anticipated future for the ASME BNC&S as developed in strategic planning. This paper provides a review of the forces impacting the nuclear industry and how these same forces impact the future development and use of the codes and standards developed for the nuclear industry by ASME. The pivotal role of ASME Codes and Standards, in nuclear mechanical equipment, pressure boundary integrity, and operational readiness, demands that this topic be carefully considered.
