Accelerated ageing test under the influence of elevated temperature 80 deg C, humidity 80 percent and under the 1500 V dc high voltage stress was used to study the behaviour of solar cells and modules properties and the behaviour of encapsulant. The EVA and silicon rubber was used to encapsulate the photovoltaic cells into panel. The current-voltage characteristics under illumination and insulation resistance of encapsulant have been used to check the behaviour of aged cells and panels. No significant deterioration of investigated parameters was found after the 90 days of accelerated ageing.
