摘要

The method involves arranging current conducting components on a plate-shaped substrate, and electrically isolating the conducting components in an area of module edges. Test voltage is provided between the edges and electrical connections of a photovoltaic module during electrical insulation testing by a mechanical contact device. The mechanical contact device is adapted to different sizes of the photovoltaic module to be tested, where the electrical isolation testing of the photovoltaic module is performed by a test module (3) during production of the photovoltaic module. An independent claim is also included for a system for manufacturing a photovoltaic module i.e. thin film photovoltaic module.
