Prior to the Fall of 1998,"Student Computing" at Eastern Washington University (EWU) meant providing students with access to 135 computers located in two general access computing labs.In addition to lab access,students could request a VAX account,providing access to email via PINE and use of VAX based statistical and programming languages.
