with the proper recipe, mixture and blending of materials into an active windrow of critical mass, the stabilization of sugar bett talings through compositing was shown to be an excellent way to meet the objectives of the study...to reduce the volume of agricultural food processing waste material and in so doing develop a reusable, environmentally safe soil additive. This process is now being proposed for full cale implementation in the sugar beet industry.
