A generic Human Resource Information System DFD is developed, to address the lack of well-established guidelines for knowledge transfer from the functional unit to the IT Department during the IS design phase. A set of level-0 and level-1 DFDs are presented. HR Planning, Acquisition, and Maintenance, functions are modeled.
