摘要

Based upon Leiba-O'Sullivan’s [11] theoretical consideration, which draws a distinction between stable and dynamic cross-cultural competencies, this study conceptualizes that the influence of dynamic cross-cultural competencies such as self-efficacy, relation skill, nonethnocentrism on the cross-cultural adjustment dependents on multicultural personality dimensions such as emotional stability, social initiative, cultural empathy, and openmindedness instead of Big Five broad traits. The theoretical and managerial implications for expatriate management are delineated.
