Microsystem technology and smart sensor for modern ship

摘要

Concurrent ship's automation greatly depends on sensors. The fast developing transducer technology combined with micromechanics, digital processing and measurement technology supports a variety of smart sensors for applications on ocean ship. This paper givs a survey over the novel microsystem technologies. Useful examples such as smart pressure sensor, accelerator and SAW sensors are especially described.
