Model Explaining subjective contour

摘要

There is a psychological phenomenon which is known as the subjective contour. We propose a neural network model which expalins this phenomenon. The model is composed of three modules whih correspond to the retina and the area of the visual cortex V1, V2, respectively. The model has been simulated on a computer. It is shown that the model behaves as human visual system does when the illusory figure is given.
