(1)A kind of specially prepared photostable dyes, namely,G1-yellow, G2-red, G3-blue has been incorporated in an alkoxide- derived SiO_2 matrixto obtain colored films.(2)The colored films have good pholostability. chemical durability and adhere firmly to glass.(3)Coatings are applied by spraying and dipping. They can be used to decorate daily glassware and flat glass.
