STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE OF PSEUDO-BAYESIAN CONTROLLED CSMA-CD

摘要

The pseudo-Bayesian method for dynamic control of CSMA-CD channels is shown to be stable. Simulation results demonstrate that a practical version of the algorithm apparently performs as well as one based on a known arrival rate. This practical version is not only stable, but it also provides optimal throughput-delay characteristics.
