PURPOSE: A stability control method of a vehicle is provided to promote steering performance and stability of the vehicle by differently controlling the braking pressure of inner and outer wheels and to make a control process previously executed before an ESP(Electronic Stability Program) system is operated. CONSTITUTION: A stability control method of a vehicle comprises wheel speed sensors for detecting wheel speed of each wheel; a yaw rate sensor for detecting the turn degree of the vehicle; a steering angle sensor for detecting a steering angle by a user; a transverse acceleration sensor for sensing slip when the vehicle turns; a yaw rate comparison part for comparing a yaw rate value with a yaw rate value calculated from a yaw rate calculation part and calculating an error value; and a braking control part inputting the yaw rate error value and a transverse acceleration value sensed from the transverse acceleration sensor and outputting a braking control signal. The stability control method of the vehicle comprises steps of deciding a vehicle attitude control mode if slip of the vehicle occurs during traveling; deciding a turning travel control mode if the decided result is not the vehicle attitude control mode; and executing turning travel control if the decided result is the turning travel control mode. The step of deciding the turning travel control mode comprises steps of deciding the control of one of front and rear wheels in controlling braking of the front and rear wheels; deciding turning travel if the decided result is the control of one of the front and rear wheels; and deciding turning travel control if the transverse acceleration value and the yaw rate error value are over predetermined values.
