摘要

Wound healing is an intricate and orchestrated process composed of inflammation, tissue formation, and remodeling phases, and is delayed in some cases, such as diabetes. Although some drugs have been applied to clinical use, the availability of drugs to promote the wound healing is required. Lipopeptides produced by Bacillus subtilis are famous for their antimicrobial activities, however, no report of lipopeptides has been found on affecting wound healing. The aim of our study is to determine the possibility of lipopeptides on wound healing. Results indicated that lipopeptides produced by B. subtilis markedly accelerated wound healing on the rabbit skin, and regulated inflammation reaction at the wound site by increasing the expression of TGF-β2 and IL-6. In conclusion, the function of lipopeptides might indicate the possibility of its clinical use for wound therapy.
