摘要

The "variable speed mechanism" is a mechanism,which requires servomotors to run at variable speeds and make the original mechanism to achieve the objectives of different output motions characteristics without changing the topological structure and the link dimensions of the mechanism.To avoid unnecessary energy dissipation and decrease the required torque and power rate of the servomotor,this paper proposes the concept of "variable inertia flywheel mechanism".Systematic approaches will be adopted to fred all candidates of variable inertia flywheel mechanisms which can be attached to the input crank of the variable speed mechanisms.Examples will be used to demonstrate the feasibility and of the proposed concept.
