Modeling of the Advanced Control System for the Hydrogen Sulphide Absorption from Refinery Gases

摘要

The paper presents the author's researches in advanced control system for the hydrogen sulphide absorption from refinery gases. The paper is structured in three parts. First part presents the author's contribution to dynamic modeling of the absorption process. The results of the modeling process are contained into transfer function of the input-output ways of the chemical process. An interesting problem is the non-linear character of the absorption process. Second part is dedicated to the advanced control structure. There are presented the predictive controller and the flow rate compensator and feed concentration compensator. Last part analyses the performances of the control system. There have been presented the dynamic simulator of the advance control system and the type tests used to analyze the performances of the control system. The numerical results have validated the control system structure proposed by the authors.
