Colour capability measurements of laser displays

Colour additivity and gamut volume of direct-emitting RGB and blue laser-pumped phosphor displays were measured asfunctions of input grey value and sample size, respectively. Correlation between chromaticity area and colour gamut volume couldnot be found, but measurements of the latter were shown to be both fast and accurate.
