Plate heat exchanger plays a key role as important heat transfer equipment in course of energy transport. Its thermal performance determines capability of thermal equipments and resistance performance determines capability of the transmission equipments (especially circle pumps). Both of them decide investment and running expense. Therefore, it is important for engineers to accurately understand and test these two parameters. The resistance formula is derived from Euler criteria in theory firstly, and then testing method and data process method for plate heat exchanger are analyzed respectively. Moreover, the resistance characteristic formula is studied from two aspects of testing error and regression error. Finally, the ratio of heat exchange capability and the power is compared with the same heat exchanger in different conditions and the different heat exchangers in same condition.
