Public Service and Public Administration In an Information Era

A little bit more than decades ago, "ICTS" are applications of information technological (IT) devices and programs in connection with telecommunication, especially networks such as the internet, due to tremendous changes in the world. At present ICTS are the core technologies of public administration. And the fundamental changes in these core technologies will have a revolutionizing influence on the structure and functioning of public administration, especially for public service. So in this article it will focus on these issues like: Basic characteristics of the information era governance; transform of public administration; the changing role of street-level bureaucracies; the relation of public administration with not-for-profit organisations etc.
