Container Types for Automatic Garbage Collection in Hard Real-Time Computing

摘要

We present a container type system that will permit the use of reference counting on circular memory structures. Reference counting can be interleaved with program execution; therefore these container types present the potential of enabling automatic heap management in hard real-time computing applications.
